44 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Northumberland during the last 24-hour period.
That means that there have now been 17,915 positive cases of Covid-19 since last March.
Despite a significant rise in positive cases, figures from Public Health England show that there have been no further Covid-related deaths in Northumbria NHS Trust hospitals.
Across Northumberland, 205 cases have been confirmed over the last seven day period. The wards of Stockfield and Broomhaugh recorded 5 of those, while Corbridge recorded 9.
All other wards which have recorded 5 or more cases are in East and South Northumberland.
