A BELLINGHAM man has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after collapsing at home.
The Great North Air Ambulance team were called to the scene at 7.15pm on Thursday, August 4 to assist paramedics.
The 68-year-old man had sustained life-threatening head injuries after collapsing at home.
He was treated at the scene before being flown to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
His condition upon arrival was said to be critical.
