ALLENDALE Village Hall Film Club is showing the 2014 film, Belle, starring Tom Wilkinson and Emily Watson in the true story of an illegitimate, mixed race girl, brought up by aristocratic relatives.
Ultimately, she played a role in the ending of slavery. Curtain up at 7.45pm, but there’s cheese and wine from 7.15pm.
