The Market Place was once again the centrepiece for Allendale May Fair, which offered something for everyone over three days from Friday to Sunday.
The elite strongman and strongwoman competitions captured the imagination of fair-goers, who were invited to have a go themselves in a separate event for local people.
Anyone with a head for adventure also took part in an array of activities, including trampolining, a Segway scooter course and a climbing wall.
There were discos, live music, Morris and line dancing and a chance for singers to enjoy open mic sessions.
The fair also offered fun fair rides, candy floss, arts and crafts, various workshops, leatherwork demonstrations and a wide selection of stalls.
The organising committee thanked everyone who attended and made the Allendale May Fair a resounding success.
