LONG-established firm Bird & Tole has gone into voluntary liquidation with the loss of 25 jobs.
Bird & Tole Ltd, specialists in making instruments and appliances for measuring, checking, navigating and other purposes, including for fighting vehicles for the MOD and laboratories, went into liquidation on January 18, 2005.
Bird & Tole Ltd in Bledlow Ridge, was founded in March 1953.
Jonathan Birch and Nicholas O'Reilly of Numerica in Wigmore Street, London, were appointed as joint liquidators.
Mr Birch said: "It's a terrible shame that a company that's been going so long with so many skills was unable to find new orders to keep business going."
Those made redundant will receive the statutory redundancy pay.
