A popular Northumberland cafe loved by celebrities has opened a pop-up in a prime city centre location.
Hjemmelavet, a gelato, cafe and cakery business in Ponteland, has opened a stall in the heart of Newcastle city centre, within Fenwick Food Hall.
It shared on its Instagram page that customers can now find its delicacies in the department store.
Several 'legendary' Newcastle United footballers regularly visit the cafe, including Northumberland's own Big Dan Burn and Brazilian Joelinton.

Hjemmelavet welcomed both Dan Burn and Bruno Guimarães over the last Bank Holiday weekend at the start of May.
It has been hailed as a 'hidden gem' in Google reviews.
"Cute little cafe/gelato place," one satisfied customer said. "We went on a Sunday and by the time we left it was quite busy. We loved the Dubai-style cake which is freshly made on premises and you can tell the quality is quite high."
Another added: "Been ordering cakes from Hjemmelavet for the past few months for various occasions. The cakes are of great quality. Absolutely delicious. Glad to have found a place to order cakes with great taste and quality for the future."
