NEWCASTLE United skipper Bruno Guimaraes took some time off the pitch this week to enjoy a family day out in the city centre.
The Brazilian explored the Life Science Centre in Newcastle yesterday (April 23) with his wife Ana Lidia and children Matteo and Pietro.
The family visited the centre's latest attraction, The Great Dinosaur Escape, which features more than 20 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including a moving Tyrannosaurus rex.
"We were so excited to welcome Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes and his family to Life Science Centre yesterday afternoon."
The family also spent time trying out the hands-on exhibits across the science centre during their visit.
Ahead of Newcastle's trip to Arsenal tomorrow (April 25), Guimaraes has a week of training under his belt after returning from a lengthy lay-off, making a substitute appearance in last weekend's 2-1 home defeat by Bournemouth.
