Newcastle United defender Dan Burn made a surprise appearance at a charity night catered by Fourstones-based business The Street Diner.

The company said its jiffy van team "dropped off 150 pies for a charity night at Blucher Social Club" and "ended up meeting the big man himself, Dan Burn".

"What a weekend, man", it said in a social media post

"Proud to be involved in a class night for a great cause, and even better to see everyone getting behind it."

The Street Diner, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, runs a fleet of food trucks and jiffy vans serving events across the North East and beyond.
