Co-op shoppers in Haydon Bridge have raised £1,930.58 for Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
The funds, collected via the Co-op Members Local Community Fund, will help the trust continue its conservation work at the Briarwood Banks reserve.
Between November 2023 and October 2024, Co-op members across the UK chose to support the 21-hectare nature reserve near Bardon Mill.
The site, recognised as one of the region's best examples of semi-natural ancient woodland, is home to regional rarities and many plant species.
Jennifer Care, estates officer at Northumberland Wildlife Trust, said: "The Co-op’s Local Community Fund was a fantastic opportunity for Co-op Members to help Briarwood Banks nature reserve at no cost to them.
"The money we have received will go towards looking after this beautiful site and making it even better for wildlife and visitors."
