A T-Rex and baby dinosaurs are set to invade the Life Science Centre this October half-term.
The show will take families on a journey back to prehistoric times, allowing visitors to get up close with a two-metre-high animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex and three baby dinosaurs.
There will also be an opportunity to take pictures with the prehistoric creatures.
The interactive shows, by Teach Rex, are included in the price of science centre entry.
Shows will run throughout the day from Saturday, October 26, to Friday, November 1.
Life chief executive Linda Conlon said: "Dinosaurs have always been a firm favourite at Life, so we are thrilled to be welcoming them back.
"The Anatomy of a Dinosaur show is both exciting and educational for children and adults alike, and it gives visitors a fantastic opportunity to engage with these realistic prehistoric creatures and learn more about their anatomy and life when they roamed the Earth millions of years ago."
In addition to the Teach Rex show, there will be other activities to keep children entertained.
These include examining real minibeasts in the Experiment Zone (ages seven and up) and creating a 'spooky' wind-powered contraption in the Making Studios.
Other highlights include the animated 360° dome show Earth Defenders and a live show celebrating 'iconic local inventions', as well as other hands-on exhibitions and activities.
