A Hexham homeware business has won an award for its gift stock.
Matthias Winter, owned by Alison Smith, is an eco-friendly homeware business that stocks gifts and ethically sourced items.
It won this year's Perfect Gift Awards, which is organised by the magazine Lux Life.
Commenting on the achievements of this year's winners, awards coordinator Melissa Bramall said: "Hosting The Perfect Gift Awards 2024 has been a pleasure this year.
"Our winners are dedicated to creating and delivering the most beautiful, elegant, and interesting products and services to their customers – holding customer satisfaction high throughout every transaction – and there’s definitely something for everyone to enjoy.
"Congratulations on your recognition, it is well deserved."
Ms Smith said: "I am really delighted to have won this award.
"You never think you will win but it is such a boost when you do.
"We work really hard to source UK-manufactured products from small businesses with a similar ethical stance to ours.
"We aim to make it easier for our customers to make ethical choices.
"It’s lovely to gain recognition for our efforts through awards like this."
