A water company has been named one of the UK's 'Best Workplaces'.
Northumbrian Water is one of only 12 large UK companies to be recognised with the title.
This comes shortly after the company was recognised as one of the 'top 20 UK Best Workplaces for Women'.
The latest award saw Great Place To Work name Northumbrian Water as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Construction, Engineering and Property.
Northumbrian Water is currently recruiting for various roles, from graduate programmes to leadership.
This is in preparation for its £3.6 billion investment plan, set to be delivered between 2025 and 2030.
The plan will see investment almost triple during this business period, known as AMP8 (Asset Management Period).
The company has already welcomed 12 graduates this month, who will work in roles related to the investment programme as part of the two-year Building Futures Graduates Scheme.
Elouise Leonard-Cross, Northumbrian Water’s group head of people, said: "Our colleagues tell us this is a great place to work, and this accolade reinforces the positive culture of our business across a much wider sector.
"We couldn’t be more thrilled to be one of only 12 large companies on this new list."
