WE shared the news that the Forum Cinema in Hexham turned 87 and celebrated in style at the end of August.
The cinema had a showing of Cinema Paradiso and guests were treated to cake and a glass of fizz.
At the event, the Forum Cinema Supporters' Association was officially launched.
Here's what readers said.
Dawn Mole wished the cinema a happy birthday and Andrew David Robson said: "Happy birthday to The Forum Cinema. I last visited the cinema when I went to see Twisters and Kensuke's Kingdom a few weeks ago."
Carla Rowley added: "One of our favourite places. The staff are so lovely, it’s on our doorstep and there is always something on, in this month alone we’ve watched Coraline, Pulp Fiction and still got Matthew Bourne and Back to The Future to go. It’s an absolute gem of a place, happy birthday!"
