Northumberland Wildlife Trust is seeking volunteers with financial experience to join its Trustee Council.

These volunteers will be tasked with joining the Finance and Risks Committee as trustees.

This committee, a subgroup of the Trustee Council, is responsible for upholding the financial and legal aspects of all Trust operations.

Committee trustees must ensure the charity's financial systems are in check, and risks are aptly identified, managed, mitigated, and reported.

The trustee role is designed to be compatible with full-time work or caring responsibilities, convening every three months.

Dan Venner, Northumberland Wildlife Trust's director of finance and central services, said: "It’s a great time to be joining the Trust with all our wonderful projects and new projects constantly starting, so why not come on board, and help shape the future of the Region’s leading award-winning conservation organisation?"

Request an information pack by emailing Paula Turner, Northumberland Wildlife Trust HR and payroll officer, at paula.turner@northwt.org.uk.

Applications close on September 28.
