The Hexham team from Sage Wealth Management raised over £2,300 in a charity golf day.

The event was held at Close House Golf Club on May 7 to raise proceeds for local charity, Tynedale Hospice at Home.

Hosted by Sage Wealth Management, the day was marked by fantastic weather and attracted a whopping 56 players.

Participants enjoyed a hearty welcome breakfast, a dynamic shotgun start, and a BBQ buffet to cap off a busy day on the course.

The guests partook in several fundraising activities throughout the day, such as a Beat the Pro challenge on the 10th hole, and an exclusive raffle offering a variety of amazing prizes, generously donated for the event.

After the victors were announced and the raffle concluded, Kaye Mullen, senior wealth manager at Sage thanked the guests.

Interim CEO of Tynedale Hospice at Home, Charlotte Pearson also briefed the guests about the lifesaving care services provided by the charity.

The Sage team has been a long-time supporter of the hospice, sponsoring various events including the Great North Run.

Cathy Bates, fundraising manager, said: "We are very lucky to have ongoing support from the team at Sage.

"We have built a great relationship and really do appreciate everything they do for Tynedale Hospice at Home.

"This was our first golf event and we are amazed at the outcome".
