North East band Destination:Live is set to thrill Hexham with a David Bowie tribute show.
The eleven-piece band will perform their Destination: Bowie show at Queen’s Hall in Hexham on June 21.
The gig highlights Bowie’s spectacular range of tracks from Space Oddity to Blackstar, performed by top professional musicians from across the region.
The event honours David Bowie, one of the most impactful artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, placing his music at the heart of the celebration without any theatrical props.
Lead vocalist, Ross Kerr, said: "We’re very excited to bring our Bowie show to The Queens Hall.
"A couple of the band were born in Hexham and still live in the area so it’s very much our homecoming show.
"Bowie was such an iconic artist with so many songs that people love.
"We’re all about the music so there’ll be a few surprises along the way.
"It’s shaping up to be a very special evening."
Tickets, on sale now from £18, can be purchased at the Queens Hall’s website. Visit: www.queenshall.co.uk/whats-on/destination-bowie
