Hexham families should make use of the Family Hubs according to their MP.
Hexham MP Guy Opperman has urged parents and carers to utilise Northumberland County Council's Family Hubs scheme.
The Family Hubs, which recently received a £3.5 million financial boost, offer free programmes and provide support to parents from across Northumberland.
Mr Opperman, who is a father himself, visited the Hexham hub and praised its facilities. He said: "I was blown away by the facilities on offer at the Hexham Family Hub.
"The team of dedicated professionals work so hard to ensure parents, carers, and children can relax and socialise in a warm and friendly environment, as well as offering key advice on birth registrations as well as support with infant feeding."
The MP also highlighted that the scheme is open to all parents of a child or are expecting a child in Northumberland.
