AN EMERGENCY service is to host a charity car wash tomorrow in hopes of raising money for an important cause.
Motorists will be able to get their vehicle squeaky clean by Haltwhistle's Fire crew on Saturday March 23, at Sainsbury's car park in Haltwhistle from 9.30 am.
A spokesperson said:"The Fire Fighters Charity is the UK fire family’s charity and is here for every member of our extensive fire service community. They exist to help all firefighters with support regarding mental health concerns from some of the challenging situations we deal with. Physical health issues that cover temporary to life changing injuries.
"They also give support with issues that can have an impact on our social wellbeing.
"Please come along to help support this excellent charity."
