GLAMPING tents will be available to book at an international horse trial event for the first time this year.
Belsay International Horse Trials, which runs from May 29 to June 2, will offer guests the chance to stay in a luxurious glamping pod on the grounds of Belsay Castle.
The Bell’s Glamping, a new company providing pop-up glamping at various locations around Northumberland, will have five luxury tents available at Belsay.

Each tent will have the choice of either double or twin beds, quality linens and stylish furnishings, and excellent bathroom facilities in a converted vintage horsebox.
Prices start from £150 per night, exclusive of hook-up, or three nights including hook-up at £545.
The tents will be next to Belsay Castle, with views of the stunning Grade 1 parkland and the cross-country course and just a short walk from the main International Arena and shopping village.
Guests can enjoy Belsay’s feature competitions, including the prestigious Junior and Pony Championships with other international classes from CCI1* Intro, CCI2*-S, to the CCI2*-L and CCI3*-S.
There will be the full range of national classes from BE90 to Open Intermediate and new for 2024 is a Novice Masters section and both the Howden Way 6-year-old and 7-year-old classes.
The popular Belsay Dog Show will return, along with fun rides, archery, shopping, food options and trade stands.
