A Northumberland luxury hotel has partnered with a local spirit company for a new gin.

Matfen Hall, set in picturesque surroundings, has teamed up with Hepple Spirits Company to add a unique offering to their elegant bar, 1832.

The new gin, also named 1832, was developed to elevate the experience of Matfen Hall’s clientele.

The gin is 'rich in flavours' and 'alluring on the nose', boasting 'zesty citrus notes, swell of rich juniper and exotic spices'.

The long finish is 'full of juniper notes enriched by subtle dark chocolate and bitter orange notes'.

Matfen Hall’s distinct oak and plasterwork creates the optimal setting for the gin, intended to be enjoyed in a lavish environment.
