Experienced and budding writers are being invited to join a new group aimed at building a community of writers from rural locations.
The gatherings in Featherstone Village Hall are aiming to develop the skills of creative writers.
They are guided by award-winning local poet James Oates, and held every third Saturday of each month.
Attendees have the opportunity to interact, learn from each other, and tap into different areas of creative writing from prose to poetry.
Guest writers, invited by Mr Oates, will share expert tips on how to explore your writing style.
The next gathering will take place February 17, from 2pm to 4pm with a contribution of £5 per person to cover costs.
Tea and biscuit breaks will be provided and all inquiries should be directed to Annette at NCDC, reachable via 07968 229767.
