An exhibition showcasing the world's worst record covers is coming to Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery.

From February 7 to April 21, visitors will get an opportunity to witness Steve Goldman’s collection of over 500 disastrous sleeve designs.

Mr Goldman explained: "To get into my collection the covers have to be unintentionally funny.

"I want a record where the designers have tried to do something that’s gone horribly wrong.

"It can’t just be a performer in bad clothes – though there are a couple that have got in that were just irresistible."

He added: "And it all has to be good clean family fun – there are no record covers that are disgusting, gory, violent, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or racist."

The exhibition will also include activities for children and a public vote to determine the worst cover.

Entry to see the exhibition will be included in the museum ticket price.
