A COUNTRY club has refreshed its restaurant and bar area.
Close House, a golf course and country club located at Heddon on the Wall, refreshed its No.19 restaurant, bar and bedrooms last week.
New carpets were laid, walls were freshly painted, new lighting was installed, and carpets and exterior pathways were cleaned at the restaurant.
Matt Teasdale, Close House's marketing executive, said: "We do it on an annual basis to get all areas spick and span. We also did the driveway and got all that cleaned up."
All areas involved opened again from 8am on January 12.
