AN appeal to find three males who were inside a property in Ponteland without permission has been issued by Northumbria Police.
The house owner, who was out at the time on Saturday, January 13, had received an alert to their phone and reported their concerns to the police.
However, those who were alleged to be involved fled the scene by the time police arrived.
A spokesperson said: “Shortly before 7.30pm on Saturday (January 13) police received a call from a concerned homeowner who reported that three men were inside their home on Runnymede Road in Darras Hall.
“Thankfully the homeowner was not home but had received a security alert on their phone and immediately reported concerns to police.
“Police were deployed to the scene however, those alleged to be involved had fled the scene.
