Tynedale Solicitors Nicholson Portnell has welcomed three new recruits to its busy Hexham practice.

Henry Box, who qualified as a barrister in 2009, has joined the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution department as a solicitor.

He cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and has practiced in commercial litigation in several Newcastle firms.

Mr Box left the legal sphere in 2016 to pursue an education career, but has now returned to law after accepting a position at Nicholson Portnell.

Hayley Olson, a Hexham local, is presently furthering her studies through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Laura Murphy, who first honed her legal skills at Nicholson Portnell, is back after broadening her career in Newcastle.

Ms Murphy qualified as a solicitor with the firm in 2010.

She specialises in private client work, holds experience in the administration of complex and high-value estates, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
