Organisers are hailing their third annual event as a success after raising a substantial amount of money for charity.
Fiona Pattinson, one of many people behind the yearly Christmas Wagon run, has been left amazed by Tynedale residents who have helped raise over £10,000.
The money raised in this year's event will be split between the Great North Air Ambulance and Santa's Little Helpers North Tyne.
The event began in 2021 and was created to celebrate the work done by truck drivers during Covid-19.
Fiona's husband, James, is a wagon driver and was the inspiration for the annual event and is pleased to see the excitement growing each year as residents see the trucks passing each village.
On the night, there is live music in different villages and towns as well as businesses who put on food for many to enjoy while waiting for the trucks.
Fiona and Forestry England's Alex MacLennan have been working on the event each year to make it bigger and better.
She said: "Of course, we are absolutely blown away, humbled and astounded by everyone's generosity. It was amazing driving through the villages and seeing the streets lined with people, and this wouldn't have been doable without the wagons and the public coming to watch."
This year's wagon run was also a tribute to David Lamb, an HGV & LG Repairer based in Acomb Industrial Estate.
David, who was well-known in the haulage industry and a supporter of the truck run, died suddenly in January 2023.
