A CRASH involving two cars was reported to police earlier this morning.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Just before 8am this morning (Tuesday, November 28), we received a report via the ambulance service of a two-vehicle collision on the A68 Southbound near Riding Mill.
“Thankfully, no one is believed to suffered any serious injuries.
“The road is currently closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted on the A69 before joining the A68 further down the carriageway. Road users are advised slight delays are expected.”
