Budding young artists have been called upon to take part in a Hexham MP’s annual Christmas card competition.

MP Guy Opperman is asking school children in years 1-6, from across Tynedale and Ponteland, to participate in his annual Christmas card competition once again.

The winning design will be turned into his constituency Christmas card, which will be presented directly to the Prime Minister and sent to other members of the Cabinet, local businesses, and residents.

The final deadline for entries is Friday, December 17 and schools can aslo take part.
