Theatre maker, Luca Rutherford, takes her celebrated performance piece You Heard Me, to Queen's Hall, Hexham, on October 20.
After a successful 2021-22 tour, Luca, known for her works Learning How To Die and Hold On Let Go, will explore the intricate challenges of connecting with internal power.
Thematically analysing resilience and self-discovery, the hard-hitting show highlights coming to terms with one's space and voice.
"You Heard Me is rooted in my own personal story of sexual violence," said Luca. "The team and I haven't hidden from the darkness of this story, but that is always at play with a magnetic sense of power and the capacity for joy within this. I want to draw attention to the relationship between harnessing the power of your voice, being heard and in return listening to others."
Tickets can be booked online at www.queenshall.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01434 652477.
