The Allen Valley and Kings Head Leek Club show in Allendale was bursting at the seams with an astonishing 312 exhibits.
Standout competitor James Little, boasting leeks measuring 134.15 cu ins, scooped top prizes of leek winner and best leeks grown without cover, while Glenn Nattrass was awarded leek runner up and most improved grower.
The members section trophies were awarded to John Short for most points in the flower section, best exhibit with a stand of gladiolas, best bowl of cut flowers, best truss of tomatoes, and best six tomatoes.
Bryen Myers was awarded the trophy for most points in the vegetable section.
Robin Rutter for most points in the vegetable section and best onion exhibit.
David Thirlwell for best exhibit with his stand of tomatoes.
Don Thomson for most points in the flower section and John Davison for best chrysanthemum exhibit.
The trophies were presented in a ceremony led by Neville Pringle.
