Hexham MP, Guy Opperman has teamed up with sponsors Thompsons and Essity to host the largest Tynedale Jobs Fair.
The event on October 26, from 10am to 2pm, is set at the Wentworth Centre and also supported by Hexham Jobcentre and Northumberland County Council.
This year, over 70 local employers from diverse sectors such as hospitality, retail, manufacturing and transport are recruiting.
MP Guy Opperman: Guy Opperman MP said: "Every year, I hold my annual Jobs Fair to help provide opportunities for those seeking work or looking for a change in career.
"Over the last ten years, the number of people claiming unemployment-related benefits has fallen by 45 per cent in the Hexham Constituency, meaning more local residents have the security of their own job.
"I want to thank Chris Howard and the team at Hexham Jobcentre for their help to organise the event."
