A NEW engagement officer has been appointed at a home care provider.

Sam Winter has been appointed by Home Instead Tyne Valley as a recruitment and community engagement officer, marking a new chapter for the home care company as it builds relationships with businesses across the area and boosts charity involvement.

With a background in sales and marketing, Sam will spread the message that older locals who need care can stay at home while receiving support crucial to their well-being.

Home Instead Tyne Valley is keen to work with other local organisations that support older people and their families, particularly local charities, and Sam will build on the company’s networks of partnerships.

Sam will also work on getting new people to join the team as care professionals and worked in employment previously. She is searching for compassionate people to join the team.

Commenting on her new role, Sam says: “It’s an honour to work for Home Instead. It’s a role that is already more rewarding than any other job I’ve had before. It’s hugely satisfying knowing that I’m working for a business that supports older people with a range of care needs and gives families reassurance that their loved ones are in safe hands.”

Home Instead Tyne Valley provides personal care, including help with dressing and bathing, companionship care, home help and specialist dementia care.
