TICKETS are now on sale to fly to Turkey for Summer 2024 from Newcastle International Airport.

Airport Corendon Airlines has announced it has  put flights to Dalaman on sale now for summer 2024 from Newcastle International Airport.

The new summer 2024 programme comes in addition to the airline’s summer 2024 flights to Antalya, which went on sale earlier this year.

Following this year's strong demand, Corendon Airlines has confirmed it will operate twice-weekly flights to Dalaman every Tuesday and Friday from May next year - running alongside the twice-weekly flights to Antalya every Wednesday and Saturday.

The Turkish low-cost airline is reporting ‘strong sales’ so far for next summer and expects to see more passengers secure their bookings early over the coming months.

Mine Aslan, Commercial Director at Corendon Airlines, said: “Following the successful launch of our summer 2024 Antalya flights, we are now adding these Dalaman flights.

“This year, customers benefited from booking early, and we have now launched our flight programme for summer 2024 to attract early bookings for next year.

“We will follow this up with the launch of several early booking campaigns designed to attract passengers looking to book their 2024 holiday in advance.”

Richard Knight, Chief Operating Officer at Newcastle International Airport, said: “Corendon is an award-winning airline providing a low-cost flight option to two very popular Turkish resorts from the region.

“We are delighted to hear that the services have been so popular with the North East travelling public and that the airline has added Dalaman to its summer 2024 programme.

“Teams across the Airport continue to work hard to ensure passengers have the best possible experience, and this year, Newcastle International Airport has been put in the top category of very good by the Civil Aviation Authority in their most recent Accessibility Audit.

“The Airport has also recently been named one of the Top 10 least stressful Airports to fly from in Europe by the luxury travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller, and this will be an incentive for passengers choosing to fly from Newcastle in 2024 and beyond.”
