Legendary folk rockers Fairport Convention are coming to Hexham this autumn amid a nationwide tour.

Tickets are available on the Queen’s Hall website for at https://www.queenshall.co.uk/events/fairport-convention.
This year marks Fairport Convention's 56th anniversary, with the band maintaining their deep-rooted enthusiasm for live performance.
Starting in Lowdham's The Village Hall on Friday, October 6, the nationwide jaunt will take in 25 dates across England, Scotland and Wales, before winding up at The Exchange in Twickenham on Saturday November 4.
The nationwide tour comes after after their Cropredy Convention this August in Oxfordshire.
Simon Nicol, from Fairport Convention, said: "When October comes round, we’ll be regrouping and returning to our natural home - the van on a motorway somewhere, back on the road and touring our music on smaller stages around the country.
"We're revisiting favourites and making new ones, seeing old friends and eating and drinking in favourite watering holes: returning in a small way the love people bring from their home towns to the Brigadoon which is the Festival site of Cropredy.
"We hope you can come and join the fun and enjoy the songs old and new."
Fans can anticipate a mix of longstanding Fairport favourites, unique interpretations of historic albums and even a smattering of unusual cover performances.
Esteemed as pioneers of British folk-rock, Fairport Convention has collected a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and had their legendary album 'Liege & Lief' voted 'The Most Influential Folk Album of All Time' by Radio 2 listeners.
Their journey has also featured in a major Sky Arts documentary.
The lineup comprises Simon Nicol, Dave Pegg, Ric Sanders, and Chris Leslie delivering powerful performances on an array of instruments.
