Scottish Touring company Fox and Hound Theatre, in collaboration with four recent graduates of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, are set to captivate audiences with 'A Trio of Tennessee Williams' in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the playwright's legacy.
The company, known for their resounding success at the Edinburgh fringe with plays like '27 Wagons Full of Cotton' and 'Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen', is thrilled to bring these lesser-known Williams' plays to a wider audience.
Director Ellie Stevens takes the helm, curating an evening centred around the female experience and triumph over entrapment.
The plays featured in the event are 'Ivan's Widow', 'Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen', and '27 Wagons Full of Cotton'.
Each play explores complex themes such as fantasy versus reality, the cyclical nature of emotional deprivation, and resilience in the face of abuse.
The event will take place at the Queen's Hall Arts Centre in Hexham on Thursday, September 14.
The duration of the performance, including an interval, is expected to be 105 minutes.
The production team behind 'A Trio of Tennessee Williams' includes co-producers Becks Granger and Helen Fox, designer Fiona McKeon, and production assistant Sam Fox.
The talented cast features Codge Crawford, Helen Fox, and Massimiliano Acerbi.
