WE are looking back at the anniversary of Prudhoe's annual popular music event, as it continues to be a success.
Music by the Riverside at Prudhoe was organised and created by Prudhoe Community Partnership and has celebrated its second anniversary this year.
Last year, the organisers made sure the event kicked off with a bang as they asked BBC weatherman Paul Mooney to open the event.
The one-day event saw local performers play to a crowd at the town's amphitheatre and was divided into parts; the afternoon saw Prudhoe Community Band, Prudhoe Community Choir, Prudhoe Gleeman, Wild Women of Wylam and Dragon Tale Theatre Group all take to the stage.
Come evening it was the turn of The Whistle Teasters, Tom Cantwell and Caroline Guirr, Calum Tordoff and Heartbeat.
This year on Saturday, July 15 the event did not disappoint residents, despite the rain, as it continued to be a success.
Once more, proving to be a keeper for future years to come.
Audiences enjoyed seeing last year bands and performers such as Barbara Hignett, singing with the Tyne Valley Big Band, Dragon Tale Theatre Group with their performance of A Geordie Cinderella.
Other entertainment included the Rock Choir, Tom Cantwell and Caroline Guirr, plus assistance from Calum Tordoff and The Shotley Singers -which the annual which was their ever first gig.
Residents enjoyed the day relaxing on picnic blankets, rugs, chairs and blankets while also enjoying local food and drink by local businesses.
