A fundraising concert at Riding Mill has raised over £1,400 for Tynedale Hospice at Home.

After the success of a previous event, a community group in Riding Mill held a Summer Concert on Sunday, June 25 with money raised going to Tynedale Hospice at Home.

The sold-out event was held at the Parish Hall and the audience was treated to an array of live performances from bands to soloists, catering to all tastes.

Local resident Simon Probyn gave up his time to lead the organisation of the concert and pull together a fantastic lineup of over 25 performers who all gave their time and talent for free helping to raise a massive £1,430.

The fundraising Manager at Tynedale Hospice at Home, Cathy Bates explained:

“This is a fantastic achievement and we are very lucky to have such dedicated supporters in the local community. To raise over £1400 with such a great event is amazing and will go towards supporting the delivery of our care services in the local community”.
