A BUSINESS has had a planning application for advertising signage approved in the town centre.
Card Factory, which aims to open in late June at Unit 23-25 on Fore Street in Hexham, submitted an application to Northumberland County Council for signage outside the storefront.
The proposal includes a projection sign and two new fascia signs (any surface on the outside of the shop displaying the company name).
The signs have now begun to be installed as the business's application has been validated by the county council.
Card Factory will replace the former Clintons, which closed earlier this year in April.
It expects to employ up to six staff members.
Along with in-store shopping, customers will also benefit from a new click-and-collect service.
