A TEENAGE band played at Tynedale Beer Festival over the weekend.
The band Outnumbered played at the Big Gig on Saturday, June 17.
The Big Gig initiative offers a showcase for young people aged 18 and under to share a stage with professional musicians.
Band members include Jessica Hagan (15), Sarah Collins (14), Daniel Hedley (15) and Eva Leng (16), who formed after meeting at McNally and the Derelicts buskers’ night at Hebburn Sports Club.
The young musicians played many songs by popular artists including North-east sensation Sam Fender.
Eva Leng, the band's pianist, said: "It was an honour to be invited to the festival, we hope to be coming back soon.”
Guitarist and vocalist Jessica Hagan said: “The atmosphere was absolutely amazing in the marquee."
The band are influenced by many artists including Kings of Leon, The Jam, Stereophonics and Blondie. They will play their next gig next month on July 29, at The Milbourne Arms in Whitley Bay.
