A popular antique evaluation event was hailed a success after many turnout it their hundreds to welcome its return.
HUNDREDS turnedout to see Newcastle based auction house, Anderson & Garland, when they returned to hold free ‘Antiques Roadshow’ style valuations in Hexham event last week.
Julian Thomson, Managing Director of Anderson & Garland said “We were so thrilled with the response we had in March, where we received a great deal of positive feedback. Many asked when we were coming back again.
"The people asked, so we listened. Consequently, the June roadshow proved more popular, with people turning out in even great numbers, giving the day a real buzz.
"There were some great surprises throughout the day, as many discovered they’d been sitting on some real treasures.
"Don’t worry if you missed us, we’ll be back in October.”
