AN award-winning artist created a nature-inspired painting to raise funds for a palliative care charity this summer.
Award-winning artist, Mary Ann Rogers, will reveal her collection of nature-inspired paintings at West Woodburn Gallery in a preview on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 from 3pm to 6pm.
Mary Ann uses vibrant watercolours to record her encounters with birds, hares, deer and otters near her home.
Visitors are welcome to the exhibition preview weekend for a glass of bubbly and afternoon tea.
She created a special painting to fundraise for a charity close to her heart, Tynedale Hospice at Home. The painting will be raffled over the course of summer, with tickets at £2 each from Tynedale Hospice at Home charity shops or via their website.
One winner will win a piece of art which will be on display during the exhibition at Mary Ann Rogers' Gallery, West Woodburn near Hexham www.marogers.com.
The exhibition continues daily until Sunday, July 9.
