With the news of Haltwhistle and Prudhoe Barclays branches to close in August this year, many are left wondering what will happen to the Hexham location.
A spokesman from the bank said: "There are currently no plans to close Hexham branch. "However, we continue to review and adjust our branch footprint to ensure it reflects the way that our customers are increasingly choosing to do their banking."
The Hexham branch, on Priestpopple Street is open three days a week; Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday.
