A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving following a collision in Prudhoe yesterday evening.
Northumbria Police received a report of a collision on Adderlane Road shortly before 5.20pm on Wednesday, May 3.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Officers attended where it was understood that a car had collided with a stationary vehicle parked on the street, and left the scene before police arrival.
"An investigation was launched and a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody at this time.
