AN Artisan Makers' Market will be held in three venues over the weekend.
More than 28 artisan makers and crafters from across Northumberland, County Durham and Cumbria will occupy three venues in Blanchland on Saturday, April 29 from 10am until 4pm.
The medieval Gatehouse, part of the prestigious Lord Crewe Arms Hotel, Blanchland Abbey and the Village Hall welcome producers of jewellery, candles, textiles, art, glass, artisan chocolates, honey, baked treats, preserves wreathes and macramé.
There will be refreshments in four locations and a chance to sample heritage craft skills, like weaving, whittling or wool spinning.
Local artists Gordon and Jean Lamb will hold pop-up art classes in the Abbey and mount an exhibition of their work.
You can find out about stick making and slow stitching. All the art and craft experiences and classes are free.
Leading North East singer-songwriter Sophia Anderson will sing in the Abbey and Gatehouse during the day and will perform a special gig in the Lorde Crewe Hotel garden in the afternoon.
There is a prize raffle to fundraise for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
The village has accessible parking.
