SUPPORT is needed to get a young people's wellbeing project in motion.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust Wild City team is launching its Wilder Ways to Wellbeing project to get young people more involved in nature.
Team members will establish partnerships with five schools in Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside and tailor educational programmes to improve pupils' health, wellbeing and learning.
The project will provide 22 free school holiday sessions to connect families with green spaces and learn about nature and climate change.
To do this, the wildlife charity needs to fundraise for the Wilder Ways to Wellbeing appeal.
Catherine Kirkham, Northumberland Wildlife Trust fundraising manager, says: “We could not do any of our work without the support of generous donors, and, I know people may be feeling the pinch with continual price hikes, but we really do need everybody’s help to make this project happen.
“By supporting our Wilder Ways to Wellbeing via the Big Give Green Match Fund Appeal, you will be helping the next generation and those who need it the most, to connect with nature and receive its health and wellbeing benefits.”
Donate up until Thursday, April 27 for donations to be doubled by the Reed Foundation.
