A FUNDRAISER has been launched to buy new equipment for a girls' football team.
Hexham Lionhearts Girls' Football Team has launched a fundraiser to provide members of the team with new kit and equipment.
The under-14s team, which is part of Hexham Football Club, is coached and supported by volunteers.
Hexham Football Club is an FA Community Chartered Standard Club, established in 2002 and is based at Dukeshouse Wood, Hexham.
The club is one of the largest football clubs in West Northumberland with 22 teams and more than 200 playing members.
It has a range of mini and junior teams ranging up to the seniors' team.
The club is affiliated with the Northumberland FA.
The target of £500 will all go towards Hexham Lionhearts.
