A retail park sign is to be replaced after residents spotted an error.
Tesco has confirmed that they will replace its cycle dismount sign after a spelling mistake was spotted ahead of the entrance of its Tesco Extra store at the Tynedale Retail Park on Alemouth Road in Hexham.
Currently, it says: 'Cyclists please dismount. Please proceed with due cre for other pedestrians. Thank you, Tesco'.
The retail park also includes a Next store.
The supermarket will send a replacement sign, but a date has yet to be set.
