POLICE are continuing their investigation into an attempted burglary.
Northumberland Police have confirmed that enquires are still 'ongoing' as they investigate an attempted burglary of a business on Fore Street in Hexham at 3am on March 14.
Two suspects were arrested but have now been released on police bail.
A force spokesman said: “Shortly after 3am on Tuesday, March 14, police received a report of a burglary taking place at a business on Fore Street, Hexham.
“Officers attended and arrested two males, one aged 28 and one aged 21, on suspicion of attempted burglary.
“Both suspects have been released on police bail and enquires are ongoing.”
