A RUNNING club celebrated a successful conclusion to the cross-country season last weekend.
Stocksfield Striders celebrated a successful conclusion to the North East Harrier League Cross-Country Season at Alnwick Castle on Saturday, March 4.

The club has fielded full teams at all six events. The ladies' team finished second in Division 3, gaining promotion to Division 2 in the league which includes running clubs throughout the North East.
Special mention goes to Claire Davies who finished third overall individually in the Veteran Ladies Grand Prix.
The fixture at Alnwick also marked the first outing for the club’s new events tent, for which the club is grateful for a grant from Stocksfield Parish Council.
