TWO people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the B6320.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash at Nunwick shortly after 4pm yesterday (Tuesday, February 14).
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "Two people were taken to hospital for treatment, with one believed to have suffered serious injuries."
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the crash, but it re-opened a short time later, the spokesman added.
